Elena Shatrova is a Senior Portfolio Manager of Latin American Equities team of Santander Asset Management based in London. Elena joined SAM in 2006 and began to focus on emerging markets, with a specialisation in Eastern European Equities, BRICT and Latam Equities. She was Lead PM for Eastern European and BRICT Equities. Elena successfully completed Business Sustainability Management program at the University of Cambridge, Institute for Sustainability Leadership in 2018 and holds a Certificate CFA UK ESG since 2021. In 2020 she was appointed as a Head of Latam ESG for SAM, a role she combines with managing Latam equities. Elena worked in Spain and the UK during her career. She holds a degree in Economics from the International University in Moscow, and an MBA, with honours, from the European School of Management in Madrid.
